Have you or your spouse retired from Airbus or know someone who has, or you have relatives working there? Do you live in Flintshire?
If so don’t just sit at home watching the grass grow. Come and join us and meet local old friends and new.
We have a variety of social events throughout the year including coach trips to interesting and entertaining venues.
Other activities include free tea/coffee and biscuits, members often talk, play dominoes or cards and enjoy a game of bingo every week. Sometimes we have competitions between the members throughout the year. This may be a quiz, bowls, darts, dominoes, pool or snooker.
Guest speakers are invited to share their experiences on a variety of topics. Also members from the local emergency services, age related services, legal services and local council will give a talk on what help is available in the local community for seniors.
As part of social inclusion the club is also open to the local community.
Membership is for people aged 55 or over and only costs £5 per year.
